This AudioDocumentary profiles the life and work and Dr. Ronald Mallett, University of Connecticut professor who has patented the blueprint for a time machine. The current version of this documentary is a draft. We are seeking suggestions for improving the product so that it can be used to interest and excite middle and secondary African American students to the possibilities of STEM careers.
This episode (chapter 3 of 10) describes Dr. Mallett's childhood relationship with his father. This relationship laid the foundation for both his interest and confidence in science. A tragic turn of events also provided the motivation for him to pursue time travel research.
